BROADCASTER, DJ , VOCALIST & TV PRESENTER, THIS IS MY STORY SO FAR
Starting my broadcasting career at the age of 16 co-presenting Saturday morning breakfast on CFM in my hometown of Carlisle, I quickly fell in love with radio. Whilst studying Music at University in Liverpool I hosted my own specialist dance music show on Liverpool Hope Student Radio. I have hosted many shows on Capital from breakfast to drivetime and currently host the Capital Weekender with Ministry of Sound on the Capital Network every Friday and Saturday night from 10pm. I’ve covered Capital’s Summer Time Ball coverage live from Wembley Stadium and hosted the Capital Weekender live from Cafe Mambo in Ibiza.
DJing & Music
My DJ career has taken me to festivals such as Snowbombing, Hideout, SW4, Lovebox, Reading & Leeds and most recently supporting Honey Dijon at Shoreditch House as part of their International Women’s Month programme. My music has been signed to Defected & Strictly Rhythm and most recently featured on Radio 1 BBC Introducing Dance as Jaguar’s Dance Floor Moment. The 2020 festival season was filling up with bookings at Snowbombing, Highest Point & BMP Festival Malta, however was replaced with live streams & mixes for Planet Snowbombing, Eton Messy, Data Transmission, Moose Knuckles & Boohoo.
Over lockdown I curated an IGTV series ‘How We All Doing Then?’ where I caught up with DJs & Producers in the electronic music world to see how they’re coping and adapting in lockdown. Guests included Yousef, Jansons, Jess Bays, Jaguar, Karen Harding, Chaney, Mighty Mouse & Selena Faider to name a few. Check it out here. Other TV credits include MTV & BRITs Week.
